Mr & Mrs

Hi! I'm Konrad.

I'm a software developer, and I love to build things. I'm a big fan of video games, and I love to play board games with friends. I'm also a big fan of the outdoors, taking walks with Maggie, and going on bike rides.

Hello! I am Maggie.

I'm a librarian, and I love to read books. If I'm not reading something then I'm probably baking delicious goods, or spending time with my family and friends. I love organizing things and and playing games with everyone, I read 166 books in 2023!

We met in 2018 at Trent University. We were both in the same program, and had a few classes together. We started dating a week after we met, and have been inseparable ever since. We are incredibly excited to be getting married, and can't wait to celebrate with all our friends and family.

FAQ

Accommodation

The cutoff date to receive a room within our block / discount has passed. However, there are still rooms available at the Comfort Inn and the Holiday Inn. We recommend booking a room at one of these hotels as there will be a shuttle bus picking up and dropping off at these locations.

Additionally we also recommend booking a room as soon as possible, as there a lot of events occurring in Peterborough on June 1st, so these are likely to be fully booked.

As well, if you plan to arrive on June 1st and only stay for the single night, we recommend requesting an early check in. As the normal check in time is 3pm which is the time of our ceremony.

Transportation

Getting to Peterborough

There are several ways to get to Peterborough, but the most practical are:

  • Driving
  • GO Transit
    - If you want to take GO Transit then you will need to take the train to Oshawa and then a bus to Peterborough. The bus will drop you off at the downtown bus terminal where you can then take one of the various busses to get to your hotel.

Getting to the Venue

There will be shuttle busses running to and from the venue at the following times:

Arrival - To Farmhill:
1:10pm - Comfort Inn
1:50pm - Comfort Inn + Holiday Inn
2:05pm - Comfort Inn

The busses will only wait at the pickup location for 5 minutes, so please be on time.

Assuming everything is running on time the busses will have all arrived at the venue by 2:30pm. If you are running late, or have missed the shuttle bus, you can take a taxi to the venue. The venue is about a 15 minute drive from the Comfort Inn and the Holiday Inn.

Departure - From Farmhill:
9:00pm - Comfort Inn
11:00pm - Comfort Inn + Holiday Inn
12:00am - Comfort Inn

The shuttle bus will pick up and drop off in the parking lot of the both the Comfort Inn and the Holiday Inn.

The busses can carry 30 people at a time. There will be 2 trips to the event, and 3 trips from the event.

There are Taxis, however the chance of them driving out to Farmhill at midnight on a Saturday is very unlikely.

Parking at the venue

There is parking available at the venue, however we strongly encourage you to take the shuttle bus if possible.

If you are driving to the event, be sure to have a designated driver and drive safe!

Second row will be chairs for designated guests who need back support.

There will be bubble blowers on the seats at the ceremony, please blow them while the couple exits the ceremony!
